Imagine yourself hiking up a mountain. At times, the path feels clear and steady — you know exactly where to place your next step. Other times, the terrain is uncertain. What will the weather bring? Which path best suits you? What lies ahead? Sometimes, you can only see one step ahead.
I walk alongside you on that “mountain,” while you lead your own journey. I’m there to offer fresh perspectives, guidance, and support along the way. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you’ve been in counseling before, my goal is to ensure that individuals and families feel welcomed, understood, and at ease. Together, we’ll work as a team to identify goals and create meaningful change in your life.
For the past 10 years, I’ve supported individuals and families across the Twin Ports as both a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My passion lies in helping people navigate life’s challenges, manage stress, and move through life’s transitions. I also have experience treating a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, autism, developmental disabilities, and adjustment to life changes.
My client-centered approach integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Deeply passionate about the healing power of the human–animal bond, I also incorporate Animal-Assisted Psychotherapy (AAP) into the therapeutic process when possible, even in online sessions, to promote connection, comfort, and growth.
