Starting therapy is a significant step toward personal growth and well-being. It’s essential to understand how investment in your mental health fits into your life financially. This page provides you with information on insurance coverage, payment options, and how to maximize your benefits to support your journey with us.
In-Network Insurance Coverage:
We are currently in network with UCare, BlueCross BlueShield, and all plans under the Optum umbrella, including UnitedHealthcare, Surest, Bind, and Medica. This includes direct billing for individual therapy, couples therapy, and certain specialized services.
Please contact us before your first appointment for an eligibility check to fully understand your coverage, including any copays or deductibles.
Out-of-Network Benefits:
For clients with other insurance providers, we are considered an out-of-network provider. While we cannot bill these providers directly, we are happy to help you navigate your out-of-network benefits.
Many clients successfully use their Health Savings Account (HSA) or Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) to manage their investment in therapy. We provide all necessary documentation for you to submit for reimbursement.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy:
Consultations:
Session Flexibility:
Yes, we offer a free consult to check the fit of the therapist-client relationship.
To schedule an appointment, you can use our online booking system, available on our website. Our administrative staff will assist you in finding a convenient time for your session.
Yes, we offer virtual services for clients who prefer to attend sessions remotely. This allows for flexible scheduling and access to therapy from the comfort of your own home.
During your first session, you will meet with your therapist to discuss your concerns and goals for therapy. This initial meeting is an opportunity to establish a rapport and create a personalized treatment plan.
Our fees vary depending on the type of service and the therapist you see. We accept a range of insurance plans and also offer self-pay options. For specific information regarding fees and insurance, please contact our office.
We usually see folks anywhere between 2x a week to every two weeks, and generally follow the pace the client sets for this. Most commonly we are seeing folks weekly. This may change throughout our time working together and should remain as an open conversation to allow for the fluidity. If we are working on heavy topics such as trauma processing, life changes, etc., we usually suggest meeting no less than weekly.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time slot to another client. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.
Yes, all counseling sessions are confidential. We adhere to strict privacy standards and ethical guidelines to ensure that your personal information and discussions remain private.
Counseling can help you gain insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and develop coping strategies to manage life’s challenges. It provides a safe and supportive environment to explore your concerns and work towards personal growth and emotional well-being.
