With over a decade of experience in health and wellness, including expertise in functional medicine, physical rehabilitation, and sauna and cold exposure therapy, Neil brings a diverse and well-rounded background to support clients in overcoming anxiety, depression, chronic illness-related distress, ADHD, chronic pain, and other mental health concerns.

Drawing inspiration from his background as a competitive athlete and a deep connection to nature, Neil emphasizes the importance of balancing mind, body, and spirit (if this resonates with your worldview). He is currently pursuing licensure as a Professional Counselor through a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is clinically trained in HeartMath biofeedback, mindfulness, nutrition coaching, and various certifications in functional movement and physical rehabilitation.

Neil’s passion for entering the field of clinical mental health therapy began with recognition of his own trauma and personal challenges. After the end of his athletic career in college, he faced the loss of a close friend who took his own life, which led Neil to explore mindfulness and other psychological therapies as a way to cope. This transformative period sparked a journey of deep self-reflection and healing, including explorations into spirituality, nature immersion, mindful movement, breathwork, Buddhist philosophies, and nutritional psychiatry. These tools created the foundation from which Neil still personally practices and integrates into his work with others. His decision to enter graduate school culminated while working in massage therapy and physical rehabilitation, witnessing the layers of psychological challenge directly intertwined with most client’s physical pain and chronic illnesses.

Through mindful living and intentional self-care practices, Neil continues to explore the optimization of human experience and the mind-body connection. His personal journey shapes his empathetic, client-centered approach, creating a safe space for individuals to reconnect with themselves and move towards equanimity and resilience in day-to-day life. Neil is currently accepting clients as a clinical intern pursuing his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Capella University.
