BreAnna’s path toward becoming a counselor was shaped by years of working with adolescents and children prior to graduate school. Through that experience, she saw firsthand how deeply interconnected people are within families and relationships, and how even small shifts in one person can ripple outward into the larger system. Witnessing those changes and their potential impact on individuals and families ultimately inspired her to pursue counseling work.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in a family systems lens, drawing especially from Bowen Family Systems and Structural Family Therapy. She’s passionate about helping clients better understand the patterns, communication dynamics, and relational experiences that influence how they move through the world and connect with others.
BreAnna believes therapy should feel collaborative rather than prescriptive. She emphasizes meeting clients where they are, tailoring the process to each individual or family’s needs while ensuring clients remain active participants in their own growth and healing. Her style is warm, grounded, and supportive, with space for humor and authenticity alongside deeper emotional work.
BreAnna is currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
